Ballyconagan townland (177 acres)

Baile Coinneaganin - meaning townland of the rabbits or of the oak shrubbery. A path to the old coastguard hut at Cantruan is maintained by the National Trust. Look for Heath Spotted Orchids and Early Purples, or 'rockets' as they are called on Rathlin.
