Candle of Hope

The island's annual Candle of Hope ceremony was held last Sunday, and raised over £400 for Cancer Research UK.

With over fifty island residents attending, and with the first use of the hand-made willow lanterns as well as the candles, the event was very memorable. Mant thanks to everyone who set up the candles and lanterns and of course the Parochial Hall where tea was served afterwards.
