Changes to membership of RDCA Committee

Monday 26 November 2012

Since the last AGM there have some changes to the composition of the RDCA Committee.

As many of you know, Marianne Green stood down shortly after the AGM due to taking a new job on the mainland, and more recently Douglas Cecil has also chosen to stand down for reasons of personal commitment. As Tania-Lee Calvert has begun work with the youth group, and brings with her a wealth of skills and experience, the RDCA Committee was very pleased to co-opt her, and welcomes her to the Committee. This brings the number of Committee members back up to eight, and the RDCA Constitution allows for a maximum of nine members. (Under the Constitution, the Committee may appoint up to two people willing to act as Committee members. Such members stand down at the subsequent AGM, and are then eligible to stand for election if they wish.)
