A Pre-Christmas Weekend on Rathlin

Many, many thanks to all who contributed to a packed few days just gone of seasonal festivities on Rathlin. From Christmas meals in the Manor House, to a packed Hall for this year's excellent St Mary's School Christmas play to mulled wine and home-made shortbread in Breakwater Studio, and from Christmas meals in McCuaig's Bar to a splendid Christmas tree lights event including a Christmas Concert from Rathlin Sound, to the visit of Red Bay RNLI - and including not one, but two visits from Santa.

The island community and friends have surpassed themselves this year, through the hard work of the staffs of the Bar, the Manor House, Breakwater Studio, the Shop, Post Office, the ferry company, the creche and Floating Support and the staff and pupils of St Mary's, and of course everyone in the community who has given their time and energy, and we all wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year on Rathlin and beyond.
