There was a very good turnout for the Co-Op's AGM last night in the Parochial Hall.

Twenty four people attended the AGM, which focused mostly on the new community shop. Many members congratulated the Committee members and Ksenia Zywczuk for all their hard work in a very short period of time getting the shop up and running.

Paddy Burns stood down from the Committee, and Ciaran McCurdy and Dermot Wilson were elected to the new Committee. Afterwards, the new Committee elected Fergus McFaul as Chair, Imelda McFaul as Secretary, and Penny Sewell as Treasurer. The Committee would like to thank everyone for making it to the AGM, and intend to hold another public meeting shortly to discuss the community shop in more detail, in particular the issue of potential shop premises for the future.
