RDCA AGM 2023

Tuesday 10th January 2023

The much delayed RDCA AGM will be held on Friday 27th January 2023. Postponed
repeatedly by the pandemic, the meeting will catch up on annual reports as well as giving
important updates to the community about the RAFT and East Light projects, renewable
energy, and many other things. The AGM will be held in McCuaig's Bar from 6.00pm, with
food provided. We hope that as many members as possible will be able to attend this
important gathering.

As per our constitution, one third of our trustees must stand down at each AGM, and put
themselves up for reelection, should they choose. Patricia McCurdy has decided not to allow
her name to go forward again, after fifteen years of service on the committee. We would like
to thank Patricia for all her service to the community over the years, and wish her well in the
future. Also, since the last AGM, both John McQuilkin and Stewart Geddes have stood down
from the Committee, and we would like to thank them for their service as well.

Two other members were co-opted to the committee since the last AGM: Millie Eyre and
Pablo Mitchell. Again, our constitution states that co-opted committee members must be
confirmed by the next AGM, so both Millie and Pablo will now seek election at this AGM.
Nominations for the committee must be made in writing (by email is fine) to the Resource
Centre by 2.00pm on Friday 13th January 2023.
